A Study on the Response Characteristics of Baum Test according to Self-resilience of Emotional Employees

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the response characteristics of the Baum Test according to the emotional employees¡¯ self-resilience, and to explore the potential as an index to determine the level of the emotional employees¡¯ self-resilience. To this end, Baum Test and Korean Quotient of Resilience-53 (KQR-53) were performed on 164 emotional employees belonging to the emotional employee occupation group located in A city, Gyeonggi province. Among them, a total of 97 people were selected by dividing the upper 30% or higher into the upper group and the lower 30% or less into the lower group based on the score on the self-resilience scale. For data analysis, the upper and lower groups of the scores were expressed in terms of frequency and percentage, and cross-analysis was performed to determine the difference in response characteristics of the Baum Test according to formal and content analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the formal response characteristics of the Baum Test between the upper and lower groups according to the level of self-resilience of the emotional employees showed significant differences in the ground line and shade of the tree picture, but no significant differences in size and location. Second, the content response characteristics of the Baum Test between the upper and lower groups according to the level of self-resilience of the emotional employees showed significant differences in the stem, branch and waterways of the tree picture, but no significant differences were found in the roots. In conclusion, it suggests the possibility of use as a tool to identify tree drawings and the level of self-resilience of emotional employees.
